Amberley centre Melbourne has a reputation as one of the states’ premier school camp venues and is located on the Yarra River at picturesque Lower Plenty just twenty kilometres from the heart of Melbourne.

Amberley offers a world away from the hectic pace of city life and is ideally set up as a school retreat centre catering to all schools and levels – state, private, catholic and alternative schools.

We offer a variety of function rooms and versatile break-out areas for reflective gatherings set in tranquil bushland surroundings. Each conference room is well equipped and comes with very user-friendly and easy to operate audio visual equipment.

Amberley can facilitate single day events, mid-week or weekend overnight retreats with on-site accommodation for upwards of 100 people.

Full catering service is available in our main dining room. Meals are freshly prepared on-site daily and our catering team offers a wonderful variety of food from breakfast through to supper. Special dietary requirements can be met with prior notice.
