AMBERLEY FUNCTION CENTRE
Encompassing the traditions of Edmund Rice Retreat and Conference Centre
Edmund Rice Centre ‘Amberley’ is a Retreat and Conference Centre situated on a bend of Melbourne’s Yarra River in Lower Plenty overlooking Westerfolds Park to the Dandenong Ranges. Amberley is approximately 20 kilometres from the heart of Melbourne and 40 minutes from Melbourne’s International Airport and has easy access to both the Western Ring Road and the Eastern Freeway.
Originally built in the late 1920’s as a private residence and after almost 30 years a centre for the Christian Brothers.
Amberley now operates as a retreat, conference and function centre, catering for schools and community groups. Nestled on 20 acres of native bushland, Amberley has become a place of reflection and spirituality for all who enter its doors. Guests to Amberley comment on the calm and serene atmosphere of this place so close to the bustle of Melbourne.
At Amberley, you are surrounded by the peace and tranquillity that only the natural bush setting can provide, and at the same time you can enjoy the comforts, facilities and accommodation to cater for upwards of 100 people. The grounds of Amberley offer walking tracks, tranquil gardens and a Chartres’s replica labyrinth.
The dedicated team at Amberley Retreat and Conference Centre Melbourne, look forward to welcoming and helping you arrange your special function.
